WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) said today that she is looking forward to her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tomorrow, Tuesday July 13, particularly now that the House has passed her District of Columbia. statehood bill twice. Colbert first interviewed Norton in 2006 for his “Better Know A District” segment on his Comedy Central show, “The Colbert Report,” teasing her for not being able to cast a vote on the House floor.
