WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) last week sent a letter to U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Acting Administrator Dan Tangherlini asking for a specific plan, within 60 days, to either use the Webster School, a valuable but long-underutilized and vacant GSA property in the District of Columbia, for a new government tenant or to dispose of it.

WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton’s (D-DC) first recommendation, in 2010, to President Obama for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, Robert Wilkins, today was nominated by the President for a promotion from the district court to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (D.C. Circuit Court), widely regarded as the second most powerful court in the United States. Of the nine justices currently on the Supreme Court, four came from the D.C. Circuit Court.
